I truly understand how you feel—I really do. I am certain that you are already as good as you need to be. I think your issue is that you’re letting other people’s opinions dictate how you live your life. Just think about it: how many times do you get to live this life, honey? Live for yourself. Enjoy the autumn. Do you want to be a good student and a good friend? Strive for that, but don’t get completely consumed by it. Be a good student for your own sake—so that, in the years to come, you can look back and feel proud of yourself. Be a good friend to those who are good friends to you. I completely get where you’re coming from, my dear, but just let it all go. Live for yourself, and remember that these small moments—these little occurrences—are what life is truly made of. Instead of waiting for happiness, create it yourself. Strive to be proud of yourself; when you reach that point, others will naturally feel proud of you, too. You are valuable. I can’t wait for the day you come back here to share how good you’re feeling and how much progress you’ve made. Stop worrying about what others think of you—you are one of a kind! Go enjoy the autumn, get your warm, cozy, fuzzy clothes ready—Halloween is just around the corner! :)
